Dr. Clouse received his optometry degree in 1991 from Indiana University. He moved to Portland in 1992 after falling in love with the city during a vacation the previous
year.

Dr. Clouse has 15 years of experience in the practice (and art) of optometry, and really enjoys creating personal relationships with his patients. He loves to help his patients solve their vision and lens problems (including contact lens problems), in turn, returning their sight, relief, and quality of life.

Dr. Clouse is married to Laurie, a licensed massage therapist, and they have two great kids - Elizabeth, 12, and Matthew, 5. They also have a two-year old dog, Luna. The Clouse family enjoys trips to the coast to surf and play, bicycle rides along the Sandy river, and sports of many types.

Dr. Clouse also enjoys photography, guitar, movies, running and painting.
